february 3, north vancouver //... notice anything different? haha-- yes! the boy is back running the wide open fields of Canada. alright-- don't be fooled-- this is NOT what it looks like in my backyard (that would be nice), but a cool picture of Canadiana to tie you over for now. (editor's note: this is in fact our campsite in Banff, complete and utter peace, not to mention deer coming right up to our campsite to graze) figured this was a good way to introduce the new (or rather, 'the next') Morgan Finlay. hope that you and yours are well and (aber hallo!) can you believe that it's already February 3rd?! I landed on Friday night... a smooth flight... and fairly speedily re-integrated myself into West Coast life. it has certainly changed somewhat since I was last here, must say. but most of the changes are good!! the sun is shining into the living room here above the city and I have to get out... more inspiration awaits. officially, the new record (tentatively titled 'Letters') now goes into pre-production... the process of getting the songs and the arrangements ready. Inner Circle members can follow things from closer, and (likely) by next monday morning, will be able to stream the eight demos that I have done so far... my web king Sir Peter confirms that there were problems installing the streaming software, but passes on the message that 'the anticipation is the best form of happiness'!
