january 22, bern // ... yes, screens near us... perhaps a little too near sometimes (oder?). well screen-syndrome, be damned!... this is hilarious. my good brother Kevin Hunt, ex-drummer for the brilliant James Apollo, posted this nugget on youTube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GMdmDQYuol0 of me roaring through the streets of Berlin on my bike. that was a good time (and the no-hander was particularly brave)... all yours. I have actually broken on to the youTube scene big time since brother David 'Cactus' Kotterba posted some Bonn videos... check it out when you get a second! (and be patient through the bad deutsch) hey down here in beautiful Bern I am rolling through a little show break until the beginning of March... a couple weeks off the road, to reflect and write. this new one (temporarily called 'Tangled Up') is pounding through my brain but I don't seem to have the right key. so much work to do this year... we roll up our sleeves at BBHQ. 

january 15, mainz // last weekend saw me roll through busy nights in Erlangen at the Strohalm, and onwards to Ryan's in Kastellaun. thanks to all who came out and helped bring the vibe... friday night in erlangen even saw the stage debut for the new song that is so wrenching for me (previous entry).. but will need a range tweak or two, before getting in the running for the new record. there's something amazing that 08 will bring... I would say that at this point we have about five songs that will definitely make it to the finals. updates coming! (and ps. demos for members to download are not just a rumour). sunday: a day off in Bundenbach (sp?) with John and Silvia and the gang was a perfect way to chill and wrap the week... and yes, your boy Morgan finally validated his cowboy kickers with... an epic first drive in a TRACTOR! had to get proof so hence the amazing shot that I took as I was hammering alongside a field near Koblenz at at least 12 kph. adrenaline, anyone???
