november 5, berlin // ... ahh... summer time! last summer was a terrific stretch along the roads of the continent... everywhere from the festival shows at Umsonnst & Draussen, Red Corner and the U-Turn (with the full band) to a personal highlight show in front of over 1500 in Luzern, Switzerland at the Blue Balls. presenting here, a reminder from a night of big love under the big sky... this picture was taken by official photographer Oliver Gutfleisch (www.konzertfotos.ch) and for me it catches the whole feeling. it also (somehow) catches my entire afro which is a stage that thankfully I have now grown through. a brilliant night of music and Swiss friends can look forward to a return to their stages in early springtime! keep it locked...

november 5, berlin // ... WOW. made it back home to Berlin this weekend, after three weeks out! sometimes it is such an amazing feeling to unlock the door and walk back in. believe it or not... I have only been back at the Prenzlauer pad TWICE since the end of August!!. yes, nette leute, that was some time ago. of course I share this apartment with my very dear Corinne, and will rock it to the end of the year... changes are a brewing my friends and I feel fantastic. how are you doing? the cold has hit us here... out comes the scarf and I have gone digging for my long-johns... nowhere to be found. speaking of outdoorsy/typically Canadian accessories... while I wait for approval to post some new live shots, check out the new West Coast photo album!! this one is from Kev and Chado's mission this summer to the most self-defining trail on the planet. hit the pictures page and sweat it out with the brothers and the back home posse... thanks for the shots Shivauna!
